As a Hospitality Consultant, you will work early mornings. You will bring your work home with you, and be expected to accommodate your client’s needs based on the operating hours of the hospitality industry. You are also expected to meet tight deadlines and be able to perform well under pressure. This is a challenging position, and only those who are truly passionate about the hospitality industry will succeed.

This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary between $38,500 – $44,000, with the potential for quick pay increases as your client base grows.
What you will be doing…
A typical day as a Hospitality Consultant starts as early at 6:00 AM, in which you will be onsite at the client’s venue to perform the physical inventory count. This includes counts of all bottled beer, wine, spirits and draught products. Following the completion of the counts, you will host review meetings with restaurant owners and managers of each location, during which time you would be consulting on the results of the reporting and providing solutions to help improve their business.
At the end of each day, you will wrap the reports you did that morning, and send them to the client within the agreed upon timeframe, typically 24 hours.
A large part of being successful in this role will also rely on your ability to grow and maintain the Toronto core client base. As more accounts are brought on and your weekly billing increases, your compensation will reflect this growth. As our company is rapidly growing, this is an exciting time to join our team, as you will be responsible for a large part of our 2019-20 plan!
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to self manage your workload and have strong time management skills. You must also be a good problem solver and can think on your feet. Having a computer and analytical skills are also needed, as well as being outgoing, social and passionate about the hospitality industry. In order to truly succeed, you must have the desire to learn and grow personally and professionally and have the desire to help others do the same.
For this position, you are required to be onsite at various locations in the Toronto core as early as 6:00 AM. Training will take place in Toronto over the course of the first couple of months.
